Boys 2024
The experienced coaches in the boys’ programs teach lacrosse fundamentals, teamwork, and good sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. Teams put into practice what they have learned during practice in jamboree-style games against clubs from across Vermont, with players getting equal playing time to improve their skills and game sense. Players do not need previous lacrosse experience to start at any level.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?
The club program runs from the 3rd/4th grade level through the 7th/8th grade.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Practices start in early April (weather/field dependent) and weekend games run from late April through the Green Mt Shootout (in Middlebury) in early June.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices and home games are held at Fucile Field next to the Middlebury Rec. Center on Creek Rd. Away games are within the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League region.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Teams practice 2-3 times per week, typically in the early evenings.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Teams will play 8-10 games on Saturdays over the course of the season, with an additional 4-6 games during the Green Mountain Shootout in June
Registration
When can we register? How much does it cost?
Registration opens on February 1 and closes in early April. Club dues are $50 for 3rd/4th, $75 for 5th/6th, and $100 for 7th/8th. All players must have an active membership in US Lacrosse (for insurance and other support) which costs $35 per year. Scholarships are available.
Equipment
What is required for game and practice equipment?
The club provides all players with helmets, game uniforms, and practice pinnies. Players are required to wear shoulder/chest pads, arm/elbow pads, protective cups, and mouthpieces. Cleated shoes for recommended for grass fields. Limited loaner equipment is available.
2024 Boys Season
This registration is for all of the boys' teams. The season will run from 4/15/2024 to 6/15/2024.
Middlebury Youth Lacrosse is a part of the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League and boys' teams play on Saturday mornings.
